Mack 10 co-produced THICKER THAN WATER, starring himself and Fat Joe, MC Eiht, B-Real and more with actual cameos (as in, they have their own story not just a throwaway line) by Ice Cube and Big Pun.
It’s great to be back in the world of “rapper produced” films here, with this being among the best for its weird touches (like a game of taboo) and an actually decent script that interrogates the gangster lifestyle as often as it glorifies it. Plus, there’s a genuinely not bad twist ending that we spoil in the episode.
