Sean McTiernan (@nochorus) joined us to watch director Charles Burnett’s THE GLASS SHIELD (Ice Cube) and as always we welcome his genius on all things cinema. It’s a really good film and probably the most slept on in Ice Cube’s filmography. It also features some legendary actors including Michael Boatman, Lori Petty, Bernie Casey, Elliot Gould and M. Emmet Walsh. There’s not a lot of music on this episode but we do talk in depth about Cube and his all-time entry into the “rappers giving press conferences in music videos” pantheon.
