EPISODE 94: Fyre Festival Documentaries (Ja Rule)
At this point it is required that all humans on the internet have a “take” on Fyre Fest, the hilarious boondoggle of a music festival that Ja Rule was intimately involved in with greasy tech entrepreneur Billy McFarland. To provide our government mandated take, we did a whole episode about two documentaries: Hulu’s FYRE FRAUD and FYRE: THE GREATEST PARTY THAT NEVER HAPPENED.
It’s actually a great episode - we cover the highlights (our boy Andy!) and lowlights (the fyre fest founder’s best friend who is also the fracking billionaire owner of the Oklahoma City Thunder who died in a mysterious fiery wreck one day after he was indicted on antitrust charges) of the whole journey, we both sound like we’re 1000 years old, and we discuss some G.O.O.D. Music gems, because why TF would we talk about Ja Rule’s music…he was in like 1000 movies…there’s plenty of time for that. Also, Jim Jones is in this for four seconds.
