EPISODE 89: SUPERFLY (Future, Rick Ross, Zaytoven, Big Boi, Big Bank Black)
We actually went to the movies for this one, a remake of SUPER FLY, a 70's black cinema classic with arguably the most iconic soundtrack of all time. Director X' remake aims to update the storyline, the location and the soundtrack for 2018 and it mostly succeeds. Which is insane when you consider the state of modern remakes.
This episode was a blast to make. Anthony is wiped out from mid-terms and Ryan is gone off the rum and FIRED UP the whole time, stepping on Anthony's jokes and constantly reminding the world that "He saw the original" like a true pedantic bozo.
So in short, a typical episode of Bodega Box Office.
